| 2004 - Jordan wins it's first regular season conference championship off of the Strength of a 13 - 11 win over Riverside and a 9 - 7 win over Chapel Hill! Rob Christensen was named All-State, along with Will Lewis and Michael McGeary. Ben Tucker was named an Academic All-American. 2005 - The "Comeback Kids" are born and given their name by the Herald-Sun and News and Observer papers. After a horrible 1-4 start, the Jordan falcons went to Washington DC, defeating the St. Andrews school 9-8! This turned their season around as they defeated Chapel Hill 13-12 twice, and Riverside 8-4 to claim their first Pac VI tournament championship! Mike McGeary and Joe Howard were named All-State. Joe Howard also became Jordan's first lacrosse All-American. 2006 - So close, but so far away. After a steller regular season that saw the falcons finish 15-9 (15-6 against in state teams), the team made their best playoff run in history. The falcons defeated Wilmington Hoggard 18-6 in the first rd., Greensboro Grimsley 12-4 at Grimsley in the second rd., and finally lost 6-17 to rival Chapel Hill in the state Semi-Finals! Michael McGeary, Joe Howard, and Matt Little were named all state. Joe Howard was once again named All-American, as was Michael McGeary. |
